Logan & Lowry, LLP’s Summer Associates (SA) Program was instituted in 2009. The program consists of two six week sessions. In both the spring and fall, firm attorneys travel to the University Of Oklahoma College Of Law and the University Of Tulsa College Of Law for on-campus interviews. Spring interviews include first year (1Ls) and second year (2Ls) law students, while Fall interviews only include 2Ls. The firm has consistently hired two SAs for each six week session. Typically, each session has a 1L and 2L.
The program offers a full work schedule as well as social calendar. The SA program includes a full social calendar because we believe it is important for the SAs to get to know the firm attorneys, and vice versa, out of the office and without “suit and tie.”
During the program, SAs are exposed to wide variety of practice areas practiced by the firm attorneys. SAs work on all aspects of client matters from initial consultations, to motion and brief writing, legal research, and attending depositions, motion dockets, and trials.
