HISTORY
Logan & Lowry, LLP is the largest law firm in eastern Oklahoma, outside of Tulsa, and among the oldest in the region.

J. Duke Logan established his law practice in Vinita in 1955 and was joined by Richard W. Lowry in 1963. Duke Logan’s trial practice abilities quickly gained him a reputation as one of the best trial lawyers in Oklahoma. Dick Lowry’s insightful business, tax, estate planning and transactional abilities perfectly complimented Logan’s skills, and their shared commitment to hard work, honesty and fair dealing set a standard that defines the firm’s sense of identity to the present day.

While there are many factors that have contributed to the firm’s growth and success, none is more significant than the work ethic of its attorneys and support staff, and its commitment to advancing its clients’ objectives through focused, skillful advocacy. Whether in litigation or transactional matters, the cost effective accomplishment of our clients’ purposes has always been the standard by which the firm judges success.

Today Logan & Lowry, LLP serves a wide array of individual and institutional clients in northeast Oklahoma, western Arkansas, southeast Kansas and western Missouri in a variety of practice areas. Civil trial work, including business litigation, personal injury and wrongful death, is one of the firm’s primary areas of practice. The firm also offers in-depth expertise in family law, estate and tax planning, probate and administrative law as well as banking and debtor/creditor practice.

As the firm enters the second decade of the 21st century with offices in Vinita and Grove, Oklahoma, it serves a multi-state clientele that its founding partners could scarcely have imagined nearly half a century ago.
